Service Description

The Effective School Board framework (and aligned frameworks LSG, SOFG, Etc.) call for school boards to strive to spend 50% of their monthly time in board authorized public meetings focused on setting or monitoring student outcomes. Boards can’t just guess whether or not this is happening, they need a way of measuring and monitoring their use of time. In this hour and a half long session, participants will be taken through the steps of measuring their board’s use of time over a full month of board authorized public meetings. This training will cover the following topics: Board Authorized Public Meetings Locating Meeting Information Using the time-use tracker tool Best practices for tracking and reporting time use This training is perfect for school board members, aspiring coaches, and board office staff.
